Sonoma County has added another major distinction to its culinary reputation. Enclos Sonoma has risen from two Michelin stars to three in the 2026 Michelin Guide, placing the restaurant among the guide’s highest-rated destinations only months after making its debut with two stars in 2025.

The latest awards also brought a first Michelin star to Troubadour, while SingleThread retained its three-star designation and Green Star for its environmental sustainability and stewardship. Cyrus maintained its one-star rating. Beyond the starred restaurants, six Sonoma County establishments earned Bib Gourmand recognition for high-quality cooking at more accessible prices: El Molino Central, Valley Bar + Bottle, Glen Ellen Star, Khom Loi, Ramen Gaijin and Stockhome.

The Curated Take: Three Michelin stars is news anywhere, but Enclos’ trajectory makes the recognition particularly striking. Sonoma County’s culinary reputation is no longer simply an extension of its wine culture. The county has developed a dining ecosystem capable of supporting everything from highly ambitious tasting menus to neighborhood restaurants recognized for value, giving travelers another reason to plan an entire trip around the table.
