Sa-Nga and Supattra Thai Dining Bring Regional Thai Flavors to One Intimate Dinner
September 16, 2026
At Centara Reserve Samui, Sa-Nga welcomed one of Koh Samui’s most celebrated Thai dining destinations, Supattra Thai Dining, for a one-night culinary collaboration on August 30. Known for its authentic Thai cuisine, locally sourced ingredients and deep appreciation for regional culinary traditions, Supattra joined Sa-Nga for an intimate seven-course dinner limited to just 18 guests.
The menu moved across Thailand’s diverse regional flavors, beginning with Sa-Nga’s Khao Yum Sa-Nga, followed by four dishes from Chef Supattra: Yum Pla, Nuea Mok, Gaeng Huaplee and Gaeng Puu. Sa-Nga closed the evening with Som Chun and Saku Lamyai. The collaboration brought together two culinary teams united by a shared approach to Thai gastronomy, balancing heritage, seasonality and craftsmanship with contemporary presentation.
The Curated Take
The appeal here is less about a special-event dinner and more about the opportunity to experience Thai cuisine through two distinct culinary perspectives. For travelers staying on Koh Samui, intimate collaborations like this offer a deeper introduction to the destination’s food culture, particularly when local chefs are given space to showcase the regional traditions and ingredients that shape their cooking.
