Silversands Beach House on Grenada’s Portici Beach is entering a new chapter as an adults-only resort, now welcoming guests ages 16 and older. Set along a secluded stretch of the Caribbean coast, the intimate property has 28 accommodations designed around indoor-outdoor living, with staggered cliffside positioning, floor-to-ceiling windows and canopied terraces that open to uninterrupted views of the sea. The shift gives the resort a more defined focus on privacy, tranquility and intimate Caribbean escapes.

The experience extends beyond the setting. Guests can dine at Azzurro, where Italian cuisine meets Caribbean influences, exercise in the open-air gym or retreat to the Wellness Room for personalized holistic treatments. The adults-only Beach House also offers a contrasting experience to its sister property, Silversands Grand Anse, located a short shuttle ride away and continuing to welcome families with suites, private villas, a Kids’ Club, spa and multiple dining concepts. Silversands Beach House was also named a 2026 Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best winner, a designation awarded to the top 1% of hotels on the platform.

The Curated Take: The interesting part of this evolution is not simply that children are no longer part of the guest mix, but that the resort is using its secluded setting to sharpen its identity around privacy. With only 28 accommodations, cliffside views and a naturally intimate relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces, the new adults-only positioning aligns the property more closely with travelers seeking a quieter Caribbean experience. It also creates a useful distinction within the Silversands Collection itself, allowing the two Grenada properties to serve distinctly different styles of travel.
