Las Ventanas al Paraíso Captures the Soul of Southern Baja
October 07, 2026
Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort has earned a place among the world’s leading hotels, ranking No. 25 on The 50 Best Hotels 2026 list. The Los Cabos resort also received the WhistlePig Highest Climber Award after moving up 19 places from its No. 44 position in 2025, marking its second consecutive year on the global ranking.
Set along the coast of Southern Baja, Las Ventanas is designed around the meeting of desert and sea, with Mexican artistry and regional craftsmanship woven throughout its 84 suites and villas. Five restaurants and bars draw on the produce and flavors of the region, while the resort’s experiences range from horseback riding along the beach and healing rituals at its spa to sunrise yoga and time spent beside its eight pools. The property also offers 30 Rosewood Residences, including the distinctive Ty Warner Mansion.
The 2026 ranking was compiled from votes by more than 800 members of The 50 Best Hotels Academy, comprising hoteliers, travel journalists, educators and experienced luxury travelers. For Las Ventanas, the recognition reinforces a hospitality philosophy centered not simply on luxury, but on creating a strong connection to the landscape, culture and craftsmanship of Southern Baja.
The Curated Take: Las Ventanas works because its luxury is deeply tied to where it is. The resort doesn’t need to manufacture a sense of place when the contrast between the Baja desert and the Sea of Cortez is already so distinctive. Mexican art, local craftsmanship, regional cuisine and experiences rooted in the landscape give the property an identity that extends well beyond its accommodations.
