Devour Tours and Time Out have joined forces for a new food experience in Barcelona that turns Time Out’s restaurant recommendations into a guided culinary journey. Time Out Market Barcelona: Tapas Tour & Market Visit is limited to 10 guests and moves through the Gothic Quarter before arriving at Time Out Market Barcelona. Along the way, travelers visit a bookshop-turned-wine-bar, an 80-year-old bodega and a tapas bar that has remained largely unchanged since 1945, sampling Spanish specialties and local drinks along the route.

The three-hour experience is designed around the practical knowledge that can make navigating a city’s food culture more rewarding, with guides explaining what to order, how to approach each stop and where local traditions fit into the meal. The final stop at Time Out Market Barcelona brings the experience toward the waterfront, with views of the port and additional tastes including paella and churros with chocolate. Rather than presenting Barcelona’s food scene as a checklist of recommended restaurants, the collaboration turns editorial discovery into a route travelers can experience firsthand.

The Curated Take: There is a useful distinction between knowing where to eat in a city and understanding how to eat there. This collaboration plays in that space, combining Time Out’s editorial perspective with Devour’s local guides and access. For travelers, the value is less about visiting a series of famous food stops than gaining context around the rituals, neighborhoods and long-standing establishments that give Barcelona its culinary identity.
