Regent Hong Kong has introduced The Terrace, a new semi-indoor, semi-outdoor waterfront venue overlooking Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong Island skyline. Elevated above one of the city’s defining waterfronts, the approximately 290-square-metre space is designed so the harbour becomes part of the occasion itself, shifting from daylight over the water to a luminous cityscape after dark. The setting accommodates up to 250 guests for cocktail receptions and 108 for seated gatherings.

The Terrace is designed for weddings, private dinners, milestone celebrations, VIP receptions, product launches and brand experiences, with adaptable spaces that allow events to move naturally between covered and open-air areas. Bespoke layouts, floral design, menus and styling can be tailored to each occasion, while the venue’s location on Salisbury Road places it beside K11 MUSEA and within easy reach of Hong Kong’s commercial, cultural and entertainment districts. Together, the setting and flexibility give the new venue a distinctly Hong Kong quality, pairing the intimacy of a private celebration with one of the city’s most recognizable views.

The Curated Take: The Terrace works because the destination is doing much of the storytelling. Rather than treating the waterfront as scenery outside the event space, Regent Hong Kong has designed the experience around the changing character of Victoria Harbour. For travelers planning a significant celebration in Hong Kong, that creates something more memorable than a conventional ballroom: an occasion that evolves with the city beyond the windows.
