Two Hyatt Culinary Leaders Bring Global Experience to Bali’s Sanur
October 14, 2026
Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali, by Hyatt are entering a new chapter for their food and beverage programs with the appointment of Ivan Gutierrez as Cluster Director of Food & Beverage and Chef Vincenzo Gatti as Cluster Executive Chef. Together, the two leaders bring extensive experience across Hyatt properties in Asia, including Park Hyatt Tokyo, Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Grand Hyatt Seoul and Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, giving the two Sanur resorts a leadership team with a distinctly international perspective on dining and hospitality.
Chef Vincenzo arrives in Bali after serving as Executive Chef at Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach, where La Cucina Italian Restaurant and Fish Club Seafood Restaurant received Michelin Guide recognition when the guide launched its Pattaya selection in 2025. Gutierrez, meanwhile, most recently led food and beverage at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok and has held leadership roles across Hyatt properties in Japan, China and Thailand. In their new roles, Gutierrez will oversee food and beverage strategy and service culture across both resorts, while Gatti will lead the culinary direction, with both emphasizing collaboration, talent development and memorable guest experiences.
The Curated Take: The appointments point to an increasingly sophisticated culinary identity for Sanur, where international hospitality expertise can intersect with Bali’s distinctive sense of place. The more interesting question is not simply what new restaurants or menus might emerge, but how these two leaders translate experience gathered across Asia into dining that feels appropriate to Bali and its guests.
